The tree Parvati planted
25 January 2026, the Siddhavat banyan on the Shipra at night.
At about 7:30 in the evening we reached the Siddhavat, the banyan that Mata Parvati is believed to have planted for Bar Amavasya pooja. After dark the trees are lit green, and the whole ghat was full of marigolds.
