The emptiest metro
A Delhi Metro platform, almost empty, the day the gates were shut.
10 October 2026. Entry and exit gates were closed at 45 stations for a protest in central Delhi, and the platforms emptied. I was on my way from Delhi to Gurugram, and it was the first time I had seen a Delhi metro station this empty.
