The langur that wasn't

We friends were sitting together, having chai, when one of us noticed a langur some distance away.

Langurs are unusual in my hometown, Bari. We looked at it for a while, and it was not moving at all, which felt a bit strange. So I pulled out my phone and zoomed in.

That is when we found out it was not an actual langur. It was a kind of scarecrow.

We all laughed so much once we realised. It was so funny at that moment, because, honestly, it looks so real.
